Titles should be in all capital letters, 12-sized Century font. Author name follows, 11-point Times New Roman italicized, with a footnote directing the reader to a biography of the writer. Both of these (the title and author's name) are centered, 0.5" on the left and 6" on the right, and they should both be followed by paragraph spaces.

Following these, there should be an abstract, all italicized and 11-point Times New Roman font. This paragraph (or paragraphs, albeit not more than three) should have inches of 0.75" on the left and 5.75" on the right, with an indent on the left for beginning a paragraph of a quarter of an inch. These paragraphs should be justified, left and right, with 1.5 spacing.

Following this is the Table of Contents. This should be 0.5" for headings and 0.75" for subheadings (further sectioning should not be placed in the Table of Contents). It should go until the 6" mark on the right side, and should all be written out in 12-point Century font. Section headings should be in all-caps, while subheadings should be in title case. Periods follow the titles until the page number, justified on the right-hand side. Headings are listed with Roman numerals (e.g., I, II) with a period following them and preceding the title. The subheadings are listed by a capital letter.

The main body of the text should be written with 0.5" and 6" borders on the left- and right-hand side, respectively, with indents at the beginning of paragraphs beginning at 1" on the left-hand side. Section titles should be centered (according to 0.5" and 6" borders, meaning it should be at the 3.25" marker) and in all-caps. Subsection headings should be flushed left, not centered, and written with the capital letter, followed by a period, an indent, and the name of the subsection, italicized.

On the third page, there should the title of the journal and its (YU UNDERGRADUATE LAW REVIEW x.x), centered. To its right should be the page number (6" border) and all should be 11-point Times New Roman italicized. repeat on every odd-numbered page.
